 Hello everybody, Happy holidays! I hope you are all making time in your busy life styles to take some time out to enjoy the beautiful weather, (not forgetting the high factor sun cream!!!)Hee hee.... The weather here in Spain has certainly been hypnotic, and trying to work in these conditions can be somewhat challenging! But I wouldn't want it any other way! I have been travelling all over Spain recently being interviewed on local TV stations, singing in Classical concerts and exploring the world of Jazz! What fun I have been having, singing with a group of professional guys that are all based in Torrevieja. Keith on the drums, Geoff on the double bass, Stuart on the electric guitar and finally a dear friend, Simon on the piano. The buzz on stage singing songs like 'Summertime', 'Plaisir D'Amour', 'Sound of silence', 'Elenor Rigby', 'Back in the USSR', 'Fly me to the moon', Eva Cassidy's 'Somewhere over the rainbow', a musical medley and much much more. All in all, this kind of repetoire is somewhat new to me, especially sung in a jazzy way! I feel like I can really let my hair down and go for it!!! Watch this space, as it looks like the guys and I will be performing more in the future together. The first performance being closer to home! For any of you who maybe around at the end of July here in Spain. I will be singing at 'Satari's' (Moraira) on the 26th July and supporting MABS Charity on the 29th July (MARIOTT HOTEL - DENIA) In the meantime, enjoy the lovely warm weather, and take very good care.
